Have you started thinking about where you might like to live in Brighton next September and who with? Need some help and advice? Come along to one of the Renting in the City talks, run by Housing Services.

The talk will take you through the process of finding and securing a property, including information on:

  • the best way to search for a property
  • property viewing advice
  • areas of the city
  • finding housemates
  • what to look for in your tenancy agreement or other paperwork
  • money tips – how much is renting going to cost?
  • looking after your property
  • alternative options – lodgings and private halls of residence

Housing officers will be available to answer any questions you have and you’ll get a free information pack on renting.

Book your free ticket for one of the following sessions:

Wednesday 20 November – Fulton A lecture theatre, 7.30pm to 9pm

Thursday 21 November – Fulton A lecture theatre, 7.30pm to 9pm

Wednesday 27 November – Jubilee large lecture theatre, 6pm to 7.30pm

Thursday 28 November – Fulton A lecture theatre, 7.30pm to 9pm

If you haven’t thought about housing for next year yet, don’t worry. You have plenty of time! Before the winter break you should be getting a group together (if you want to live with others) and getting information about the house hunting process, then looking for properties in the new year. Coming along to a Renting in the City talk is a great place to start.
