Digital Discovery Week: see what’s on

Students working on a laptop and tablet

This week (4 to 8 November) you’re invited to join in with exciting workshops, seminars and online opportunities exploring digital technologies and innovations.

This afternoon (Monday) we’ll be running an Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’ on the Library account (@sussexlibrary) so you can ask for recommendations on new tools, help on how to get the best out of the ones that you’re already using, or just find out more about what’s on during the week.

From talks on the impact of 5G technologies to tours of Sussex’s quantum computing labs and solar panels, learn first-hand about the technology that will affect the way that we all study, work and live.

Sign up to digital skills workshops showing you how to create a winning LinkedIn profile or how to build your own website.

You can also join ‘Digital Database a day’ webinars where you can learn how to use some of the Library’s most popular databases and vote for which one you’d like covered on the final day.

With film screenings, social media chats and much more, there’s something for everyone – and it’s all free!

Visit the Library website for the full programme and booking information.
