Spring Careers Fair

Last updated: Monday, 25 April 2022
The Spring Careers Fair on Wednesday 27 April is your chance to find out more about your career options after graduation, network with recruiting employers, find out how workplaces have adapted and changed in recent years, and find out what exhibitors are looking for in applicants.
We have 28 exhibitors confirmed including:
- Brighton and Hove City Council
- Creative Process Digital
- New World Tech
- Concordia
- West Pier Studio
- Assurity Consulting
You may want to ask them about their company, the roles they have available and what they look for in an applicant, or you could even use the conversations to find out about the organisation on a day-to-day basis, for example, what does the recruiter like about their job? What does a typical day in the organisation look like? It could be your chance to make a good first impression before you apply.
We also have GradFinale joining us for the event, offering final year students the opportunity to have a free professional headshot photograph for your LinkedIn and Sussex Connect profiles.
The Development and Alumni Relations Office teams up with GradFinale each year to produce a graduate yearbook for Sussex graduates, in which your photo will also be used.
Where to find the Fair
Taking place in the new Student Centre, it’s also an opportunity to see inside the new building for what will likely be the first time for many of you.
You can find the Student Centre on Refectory Road, opposite the Health Centre/Lancaster House Road on campus.
How to attend
We’ve split the Fair up into 30-minute timeslots, to ensure there is plenty of room to move around the stands comfortably and to enable you to have plenty of time to speak to the exhibitors you wish to speak to. These can be booked on Eventbrite.
