The holiday season is just around the corner, and finding thoughtful yet affordable holiday gifts can be a festive challenge for students on a budget. For some that may mean agreeing not to gift this year. But for those of you on the lookout for a meaningful gift that won’t break the bank, we turned to the Instagram hivemind to ask our student community here at Sussex for your ingenious ideas for low-cost presents. Here's what you said:
Baking and cooking
Why not tap into your culinary skills by creating a delightful treat for your friends and family? Your suggestions include baking something festive, whipping up a homemade dessert, or even preparing a hearty dinner. The personal touch of a handmade edible gift shows you care and is delicious to share.
Low-cost gifts
Opt for small, inexpensive items that still carry a thoughtful touch. A festive mug, festive socks, or practical daily essentials like a scarf or umbrella, make for great budget-friendly options.
