Welcome: Get Started - events and free food on 9 November

On Wednesday 9 November 2022, the University will be hosting Welcome: Get Started – a series of events designed to give you the opportunity to explore or re-explore the guidance and support available to you as a Sussex student.
Now that Semester one is underway and we hope you have begun to settle into life at Sussex, you may have specific questions about student life, academic skills or practical support, such as:

tips on taking notes for lectures, support on referencing for your first essays, or techniques for revising for exams

looking for part-time jobs, work experience opportunities or CV advice
-
practical support with personal concerns, anything affecting your studies or life on campus
-
getting involved in extra opportunities while studying at Sussex.
There will be a wide range of support services available in different formats, including seminars, workshops and drop-in sessions. We will also be providing lunch, dinner and games to those in attendance.
