Long-term Health Condition Wellbeing Group- Five Week In-person Course

University of Sussex Campus : A confidential room in the Student Centre.
We are excited to invite you to a free, five-week in-person wellbeing course for students with a long-term physical health condition who may be struggling with their mental health or wellbeing.
This group is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Within each session you will learn practical tools and techniques to help you to manage your wellbeing alongside your long-term health condition. Topics will include making behavioural changes, learning pacing techniques, recognising unhelpful thinking styles, thought challenging, worry management, compassion and relaxation.
Each session will be around 90 minutes with breaks in between!
You must attend all sessions with the first session taking place on Thursday, 30th January (2-4pm). The following sessions will take place on:
Thursday 6th February 2025, 2pm-4pm
Thursday 13th February 2025, 2pm-4pm
Thursday 20th February 2025, 2pm-4pm
Thursday 27th February 2025, 2pm-4pm
