Discover the richness of culture and intercultural learning in this interactive online Global Classroom event, hosted by the Global Engagement team and SussexWrites. Through creative writing, collaborative activities, and meaningful discussions, we'll explore how culture shapes our everyday lives.
What to Expect:
-
Global Classroom Activity: Connect with Sussex students, the SussexWrites community, and international partner university students.
-
Insightful Discussions: Delve into questions like “What is culture?” and “How do we experience cultural interaction in daily life?”
-
Interactive Padlet: Contribute to a shared digital space where ideas and reflections can be archived and discussed.
-
Creative Writing Workshop: Practice cultural appreciation by writing about your memories and experiences, alongside those of others, in a supportive, global community.
You will also be given the option to have your work published via the SussexWrites blog in a collection with other works from the session.
Writing in English is not required, and all languages are welcome.
Come with your memories and curiosity to build intercultural connections and develop the way you think and talk about culture.
