Documents to show
To get your room key, you will need to show a copy of your housing offer letter either by printing it out or by showing it on your phone.
If you’re arriving by car, before you arrive we ask you to download and print out a car window sheet to put on your dashboard. This helps us direct you around campus.
Download your car parking sheet as a PDF from your residence option below. Write your vehicle registration number, mobile phone number and key collection time on the print-out so we can contact you if necessary.
If you’re living on campus
- Northfield, Lewes Court

Go to Stanmer Court’s 24-hour reception to get your keys.
The address is Falmer, BN1 9PU. When you arrive, press “P” on the gate near the bus stop and the porter will open the gate for you. The bus stop and train station are close by, within walking distance.

- Brighthelm, Swanborough
During and after Welcome Weekend go to Swanborough reception between 9am and 5pm.

If you’re living off campus
Our off-campus properties are: Kings Road, Victoria Road, Windlesham Road, York Avenue, Florence Road, Clifton Road and Ewhurst Road.
To collect your keys for your off-campus room, go to Kings Road Residence reception at 51-53 Kings Road, Brighton, BN1 1NA. See a map of Kings Road Flats [PDF 530KB].
Outside of Welcome Week, opening hours in normal term-time are:
- 8pm to 12 noon the next day (closed from 12 noon to 8pm) during the week
- 8pm to 8am on Saturdays and Sundays (closed in the day).

If you’re not sure where you’re living
Our accommodation falls into two categories – on campus and off campus. Check if you’re living in:
- on-campus accommodation, which is on our campus in Falmer
- off-campus accommodation, which includes properties in Brighton, Hove and Lewes.
