Find out where and when you can collect the keys to your new accommodation.
Booking a timeslot to collect your keys
If you are travelling to campus by car on arrival weekend, you will need to book a time slot to collect your key. Time slots can be booked through the accommodation portal using your online accommodation account.
If you are travelling by public transport, you won’t need to book a time slot.
Important: Check for emails ahead of your arrival for further travel information from us travelling to campus during Arrivals Weekend.
Collecting keys during Arrivals Weekend
You can collect keys for your accommodation from the Hastings building between 8am and 6pm on Arrivals Weekend. This applies for all on-campus residencies except for Stanmer Court, in which case you can collect directly from Stanmer Court reception. You can find a map of campus here.
Make sure you bring photographic ID to collect your key, such as a passport or drivers licence.
To allow queues to move quickly, family members and other guests should wait outside the building while you collect your keys.
Football match – Saturday 19 September
Important: There will be a football match at the American Express Stadium opposite the university campus, kicking off at 3pm. This will cause significant delays around the area before, during and after the game. If you’ve booked to move in on Saturday, please allow extra travel time and plan your journey accordingly.
To reduce congestion, arrival timeslots will not be available during the hour before kick-off or the hour after the match finishes.
Collecting keys out of hours
If you’re arriving outside of the 8am to 6pm timeslot over Arrivals Weekend you can collect your keys directly from your residences (instead of the Hastings building):
- East Slope: East Slope Bodiam reception
- West Slope: West Slope Saxby House reception
- Stanmer Court: Stanmer Court reception
- All other residences: Bramber House 24/7 reception.
