Hands down, my favourite nature spot near campus is Falmer Pond. There are loads of benches to sit around and listen to music or read. And according to the Mind organization, spending time in nature can help improve your confidence, reduce loneliness, and help you feel more connected to nature and your local community.
[Video footage from the Boundary Walk]
Another hidden gem is the Boundary Walk, [image overlay of campus from above with the Boundary Walk marked in yellow] which circles around the University campus [image overlay of waymarkers] and has loads of way markers along the path so you don't get lost. It follows the Pelham Flint Wall, which, fun fact, the Pelhams were the aristocrats who owned the estate before the University was built there.

It then takes you out on Stammer Park and then past Dew Pond and then through a little woodland trail. It's such a pretty walk to do with so much biodiversity surrounding it and it really helped me relax and just get moving.
[Video footage of the Chalk Grassland]
It then takes you out onto the Chalk Grassland right over the University and there are so many ways you can get involved in helping to promote biodiversity on our campus, [screen capture of the ‘Love Your Scrub’ site] such as the ‘Love Your Scrub’ site, [screen capture of the Forest Garden Society Instagram including a Forest Garden Society post] the Forest Food Garden and Forest Garden Society, [footage of the Roots Garden] and Roots Garden, which is open Wednesday and Sunday, 1-3 PM.
