Described by The Guardian as ‘eclectic and imaginative’, CINECITY brings the best in world cinema to Brighton with a festival programme of premieres and previews, artists’ cinema and installations, treasures from the archive, live soundtracks, talks and special events.
We’re delighted to be screening four films this week right here on campus. Student discounts are available on all films.
- Tuesday 15 November, 7pm: Savage Noises - Scoring for Horror
- Wednesday 16 November, 5pm: Acts of Resistance: Algerian Women and the Algerian War of Liberation
- Thursday 17 November, 8pm: Battle of Algiers with Asian Dub Foundation Live Score
- Friday 18 November, 8pm: Keyboard Fantasies: The Beverly Glenn-Copeland Story
Calling all Erykah Badu Fans: The 25th anniversary of Baduizm

To celebrate 25 years of Erykah Badu’s cult debut 'Baduizm', a selection of London’s finest jazz musicians have come together to faithfully reimagine the iconic album.
The critically acclaimed album featured massive neo-soul classics 'On & On' and 'Other Side of the Game'. It topped billboard charts, received international platinum and gold accolades and a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
