It is that time of year again when we get ready to celebrate our diverse and global campus.
Taking place annually in March, One World Week is a collaboration between the Students’ Union and the University, with inclusive activities run for, and by, both students and staff.
It is an opportunity to share aspects of your culture with others, promote cultural understanding and explore global issues.
In past years, members of our community have hosted Ted X talks, shared cultures through society-run activities such as learning calligraphy, supported refugees through an afternoon of food, music and exhibition, and, of course, marked the colourful celebration of Holi in Library Square.
Further information on how to get organised to host an event or take part in activities will follow in the coming months.
