Discover seasonal work and internships in the local area.
Search for part-time jobs on campus or across Brighton.
Find opportunities to make a positive contribution, gain valuable work experience, build your confidence and develop your skills.
Additionally, you can also book a 1-1 appointment with a Careers Consultant in your school to talk through how you can build work experience through different routes.
Log your Spirit of Sussex Award points
Work experience comes in many different forms, including any interviews and applications you may have completed in pursuit of a placement.
Don’t forget – you can also log Spirit of Sussex Award points for these activities. Our Spirit of Sussex Award celebrates your extra-curricular and voluntary achievements, and recognises the transferrable skills you gain outside of your studies. It’s also a brilliant achievement to add to your CV and talk about in interviews.
To learn more about the scheme and start logging points, you can log into the Spirit of Sussex Award platform using your University email and password.
Log interviews and applications in Work Experience under the question “have you accessed any career-readiness and employability support?”.
