Student arrivals (Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September)
This week, our new students will be moving into campus accommodation. Thousands of vehicles will be driving and parking around campus and as such it will be very busy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Estates team therefore ask that staff only come onto campus if absolutely necessary over this period, to allow space for the estates and student experience teams to welcome new students and help them move in.
If you do need to drive to campus during arrivals, please be aware that the upper half of P1 Science car park is unavailable for parking. Please park in the lower half only, or alternatively use the P7 Jubilee Multi-Storey car park.
Brighton & Hove Albion also have a home match on Saturday 14 September, which will further limit parking availability.
New bus timetables in September
Brighton & Hove Buses are introducing new timetables from Sunday 22 September, with increased services to and from campus including the 23, 25, and N25 routes.

University staff car parking is going digital
Work is currently taking place to set up our new fully paperless parking system where permits are applied for and stored digitally, with no need to collect or display a physical permit and/or scratchcard.

Car parks, roads, and closures
There is an Amex Stadium football fixture (Albion v Ipswich) this Saturday 14 September, kickoff at 3pm. Campus will be additionally busy during this match.
An NHS Breast Cancer conference is taking place on Friday 13 September, with the top two floors of Jubilee Multi-Storey car park reserved all day.
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is taking place on Sunday 15 September. The general Brighton and East Sussex area will be impacted during this event.
