Supporting local charities
Earlier this term, we asked staff and students to support Sussex Uni Food’s charity collection through donating festive foods and warm, unused clothes at one of the donation points set up around campus, to support the great work of St Peter’s Brighton.
Thanks to your support and kindness, Sussex Uni Food staff filled 130 gift bags with festive treats, gloves, scarves, and warm clothes, which they gave out to friends of Saint Peter’s church facing hardships, on Saturday 30 November, during one of the Safehaven drop-ins at the church.
Feeding the community
Our catering team assisted St Peter’s Brighton staff and volunteers in serving soup to 130 vulnerable people on the day. The meal was accompanied by Christmas presents and meaningful conversations.
Thank you for helping spread warmth, making a difference, and giving back to the local community.
