Tiffany Murphy – Close to My Heart: Autoethnographic Approaches
Tiffany’s initiative invites researchers to reflect on how their own lived experiences can shape their academic work. Through autoethnography, she explores deeply personal and emotional dimensions of research, opening up new possibilities for self-awareness and authenticity in scholarly writing. Stop by Tiffany’s table to discover how your story can become a powerful research tool.
Louisa Rinaldi and Emily Whelan – Empowering Excellence: Unlocking Prizes, and the 'Research for the Greater Good' Award
Louisa and Emily are demystifying the world of academic prizes and recognition. Their project aims to make awards and accolades more accessible by providing practical guidance and championing the value of diverse contributions to research. Learn how to put yourself, or others, forward with confidence, and hear about their development of the new 'Research for the Greater Good' award.
Mitakshara Medhi – Listening to Lived Experiences: An EDI Initiative
Mitakshara's work focuses on creating inclusive, empathetic spaces within the research community. Mitakshara’s initiative brings together underrepresented voices through storytelling, listening sessions, and creative reflection, all aimed at advancing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) across disciplines. Talk to Mitakshara about how small actions can lead to systemic change and how you can be part of it.
