PTES extra prize draw – terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to all students who are registered on a taught postgraduate masters level course at the University of Sussex who take part in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (‘Eligible Student”).
  2. All eligible students who complete the survey will automatically be entered into the prize draw unless they indicate at the end of the survey that they do not wish to take part.
  3. Twenty winners will be chosen by random draw on Tuesday 9 May (“Draw Date”). The winners will be notified by the end of May.
  4. Each winner will receive a £75 Amazon voucher (seventy-five pounds sterling) (“Prize”).
  5. Winners will be notified that they have been selected and will be asked for their consent to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of awarding and announcing the Prize. A winner may ask for their name not to be announced in which case the announcement will say that a student in [name of School] has won a prize.
  6. The Prize for the winners is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
  7. The decision of the University regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  8. Eligible students are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless they have opted out of the prize draw in accordance with condition 2. The University reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone who is in breach of these terms and conditions.
  9. The University reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
  10. This prize draw will involve the processing of personal data of Eligible Students. Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and the University’s data protection policy. See also condition 5 with regards to the award and announcement of winners.
  11. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
