Do you vape?
The Government has announced that the sale of disposable vapes will be banned in England from June 2025. Until then, it’s still better to choose reusable or refillable instead of disposable vapes.
But if you do have a disposable vape, it needs to go into a dedicated bin when you’re finished with it: vapes contain hidden batteries that can cause fires when put in rubbish, recycling or litter bins.
You can return them to retailers, or you can take them to our dedicated vape recycling bins on campus:
- Outside Falmer House reception
- In the Co-op
- In the Student Centre
