The University of Sussex Business School ranks first in research income for third year running

The University of Sussex Business School retains the number one ranking in the UK for Business and Management research income, according to the UK’s Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).
Released on Monday 6 January 2025, the report Research Income for Business and Management ranks the University of Sussex Business School highest among all UK business schools, receiving £6.7 million in research income for 2022/2023.
This significant funding is being used to tackle crucial global challenges in sustainability, energy demand, trade policy, equality, innovation and digital technologies. The School’s nine research centres are actively shaping the future by addressing pressing issues in our economy and society.
Professor Sasha Roseneil, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sussex says:

The CABS report uses the latest data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) on UK Business School funding from 2012/13 to 2022/2023.
