As part of Sussexsport's commitment to support several student led charity events throughout the year, our Sport Centre was transformed on Wednesday into a bustling sporting arena. With fancy dress galore and the sound of cheering filling the air, the source of all this excitement was the charity basketball tournament organised by Sussex's own basketball teams.
All the benefits went towards Off The Fence - an organisation tackling homelessness in the Brighton area. Fourteen teams took part, from American Football to Netball - but in the end the title went to Sussex Cricket. The event generated over £400 for Off The Fence and its safe to say lots of fun was had in the process!
