If you're packing up and realise you’ve got clothes, kitchenware, or other items you no longer want or need - don’t throw them away! Drop them off at one of our on-campus donation points.
Your items can go to the new Student Union Swap n Shop, a brand new space where all students can take what they need for free, or you can choose to donate directly to the British Heart Foundation.
It’s an easy way to lighten your load and give your items a second life, all while supporting students and sustainability. Your donations can:
- Stock the Swap n Shop so other students can find what they need to settle in for the year
- Support the British Heart Foundation, funding life-saving research and patient care through local charity shops
What we can accept:
- Clothing & accessories
- Kitchen equipment
- Homewares / decorations
- Craft / art supplies (don’t have to be unused!)
- Sealed non-perishable foods (like dry pasta, rice, tins…)
- Sealed cleaning products
- Undefined wires
- Small electrical appliances (British Heart Foundation only)
Where you can donate:
- Falmer House Reception
- East Slope Reception
- Northfield Reception
- Swanborough Reception
- Stanmer Court Reception
- Lewes Court Reception
- Kings Road Reception
Give your unwanted items a second life and make a real difference in your community.
