From early 2026 Sussex will be getting a brand-new website – a great piece of news that means that the whole world will be able to see the best of our University, shining a spotlight on academic and research excellence alongside everything else that Sussex has to offer.
The new website will make life easier for students, with quicker access to essential information, and personalised content in the Student Hub coming in a later release. And it’ll look brilliant too.
When we started planning for the new website, we asked students what they thought about our current website, and what could be improved. You told us it felt cluttered, with lots of clicking required to find the information you need.
Our new website will be designed to provide a streamlined, user-friendly experience. To make sure our content works for users, it will have to follow four simple principles: it should be relevant, accurate, engaging and accessible.
We plan to involve students in testing the look and feel of the new website as the project progresses.
