It’s Your Time to Lead! Autumn Elections 2025 Open

The Sussex Students’ Union has announced that nominations for Autumn Elections 2025 are now open. These elections give students the chance to take on leadership roles, represent their peers, and shape the future of life at Sussex. Student leaders ensure that the SU reflects the views and needs of the community, while leading projects and campaigns that support specific student groups. Students can put themselves forward for Part-Time Officer and Committee and Rep positions such as:
- LGBTQ+ Students’ Officer
- BAME Students’ Officer
- Postgraduate Taught Officer
- Postgraduate Research Officer
- Representative Positions
- Council Positions
- International Students' Committee
- Sustainability Committee
- Wellbeing Committee
- Student Rep Elected Positions
- PGR Reps
- Senior Course Reps
These roles are central to representing student voices, holding the University to account, and championing causes that matter to the Sussex community.
- Take note of these key Dates for Autumn Elections 2025:
- Nominations open: Monday 1 September, 12 midday
- Nominations close: Friday 3 October, 9 am
- Voting opens: Monday 6 October, 12 midday
- Voting closes: Friday 10 October, 12 midday
