It’s time to join our team of Student Reps for the 2025/26 academic year! Course Reps play a key role in shaping education at Sussex. Throughout the year, they meet with University staff to discuss course quality, share insights from their peers, and help bring about positive changes to teaching and learning.

Over the summer, the Students’ Union and University Rep Team have been busy preparing training and resources to support reps in the Autumn term. This year, training will focus on what students should expect from their education at Sussex and how reps can advocate for these standards. Topics include effective assignment feedback, engaging lectures, and access to high-quality learning resources.

For new students joining Sussex in 2025, the Rep Scheme is a great way to learn more about your university experience, connect with peers, University staff, and elected representatives at the Students’ Union, and contribute to the culture of feedback across campus. It’s also encouraging to see returning reps continue to build their skills, confidence, and academic communities each year.
