Varsity 2026 is now underway! If you’re wondering what to expect, check out this Instagram post from the Students’ Union.

Fixtures at the University of Brighton
Tickets are now available to many of the events, including those taking place at the Brighton sports facilities on next week. These are huge away games – why not head over and support our teams when it matters most?
- Mixed Badminton, Brighton Sport Complex, 4pm, Monday 16 March
- Women’s Basketball, Meads Building, 5pm, Monday 16 March
- Men’s Basketball, Meads Building, 7:45pm, Monday 16 March
- Women’s Volleyball, Brighton Sport Complex, 5:40pm, Tuesday 17 March
The Brighton Sport Complex and the Meads Building are very close to each other, just a 15 minute walk from the Sussex campus. Thank you to Daphne for showing us the way!
Fixtures at the University of Sussex
The biggest day of Varsity 2026 will be Super Wednesday (18 March), when men’s football, women’s football and women’s hockey all take place up at the Falmer Sports Complex (FSC).
If you want an action-packed afternoon of competitive sport, with big crowds and everything on the line – this is it!
- Women’s hockey, FSC astro, 1pm
- Women’s football, FSC 3G pitch, 1pm
- Men’s football, FSC 3G pitch, 3:45pm
There will be fantastic food options available, including hot dog and drink meal deals, with vegan options too.

And finally
The final fixture of the fortnight is the Netball, one of the most fiercely contested games in recent years. It could be the game that decides the overall result of Varsity. Head back over to Brighton for an exciting Friday night finale:
