Sussex Sport membership options are changing for the 2026–27 academic year.
Don’t worry - our prices aren't going up. We're just simplifying our membership tiers and changing their names.
What's changing?
From 1 September 2026:
- Gold membership will become Sussex Sport Unlimited
- Silver membership will no longer be available. If you're currently a Silver member, you'll be automatically upgraded to Sussex Sport Unlimited at no extra cost
- Bronze membership will become Sussex Sport Pay As You Go.
If you're currently a Gold or Bronze member, your access isn't changing – only the name of your membership. You'll continue to have the same access to the gym, fitness classes and court bookings as before.

Are you considering Sussex Sport membership for the coming academic year?
If you join Sussex Sport Unlimited or renew your current membership the end of September it’s only £190 for 12 months (vs. £225 after September).
With Unlimited membership you get:
- Anytime gym access
- Unlimited group fitness classes
- Fourteen days advance booking rights for classes and courts.
Pay As You Go membership
If you’d prefer to use the gym, classes or courts on an ad-hoc basis, check out Sussex Sport Pay As You Go.
With a £30 Pay As You Go membership you get:
- reduced rate pay-and-play fitness room use (from £4.50 a visit)
- reduced rate pay-per-class group fitness classes (from £5 a class)
- reduced rate pay-and-play racket sports court hire (from £3.50 a session)
- seven days advance booking rights for classes and courts.
