Insight schemes for first-year students
Insight schemes are short-term opportunities that offer you the chance to experience what it’s like to work in a corporate organisation. They usually run in the spring or summer break.

Some employers and organisations also offer insight days specifically for diverse students.
We have partnered with EmployAbility to provide disabled students, and students with neurodivergent, mental health and long-term health conditions, with individualised advice and support about adjustments for internships. EmployAbility also provide training to host employers so students can feel confident about a positive work experience.
Insight opportunities are most commonly available in the following sectors.
Banking, finance, business and consulting work experience
