Learn how to check in and register when you arrive for summer school.
Checking in
Your arrival day will be different depending on if you are attending session 1 modules or just for session 2 modules. When you get here you will need to check at East Slope reception.
You should aim to arrive between 10am and 6pm. Our team will be waiting for you in the East Slope social centre to help you check in and get the key for your room. If you arrive later than this, you can collect your keys from the 24-hour reception in East Slope.
There will be a mandatory orientation shortly after arrival day. See below for the exact dates.
You will need to organise your own accommodation if you arrive in the UK before arrival day.
Registration
To complete registration, we will need to see evidence of your arrival in the UK.
If you see a Border Force Officer on arrival, you should get your passport stamped. We will need to see a copy of this.
If you enter via an e-Gate, your passport will not be stamped and we will need to see a copy of your boarding pass, which you should retain. You will be required to submit this evidence for approval.
Once approval is given, your registration is complete.
We’ll give you further details about this step when you arrive.
Orientation
Orientation will cover important academic and social aspects during your time here. There will also be an opportunity for tours of campus, our library and the city of Brighton.
