It’s that time of year when students start thinking about accommodation for next academic year, and you may be starting to look at different housing options available to you.
But did you know that current students can continue to live on campus after their first year?
There are lots of benefits to living on campus, including:
- Cheaper living costs, with bills such as Wi-Fi, heating, water and electric all included and no unexpected price increases for the duration of your tenancy
- Communal areas are cleaned for you once a week
- Quicker and easier to get to lectures/seminars, plus you’re living at the heart of campus life and events
- You’ll spend less money on travel to university
- Even better – groups of up to eight students can also apply to live together on campus, so you can still live with your friends!
Or, if you’re a final year student, you can apply to live in exclusive final year accommodation, meaning you can live with students who are in the same stage in their studies.
Applications to live on campus next academic year will open shortly.
Register your interest by emailing housing@sussex.ac.uk and they will send you a link to apply once the applications are open.
