With the Easter break approaching, here’s everything you need to know about our campus café opening hours.
Closures
The following outlets will be closed from Thursday 17 April and will re-open as normal on Wednesday 23 April:
- Attenborough Centre café
- The Veg Bowl @ Dhaba
- Doctor’s Orders
- Eat Central
- Tortilla
- Botanical Café
- Library Café
- IDS
Arts Piazza and the Sussex Innovation Centre café will be closed from Friday 18 April and will reopen on Tuesday 22 April.
The Atrium Market will operate as usual, except on the Bank Holidays (Friday 18 April and Monday 21 April), when it will follow the Student Centre weekend opening times of 9am – 9pm.
The Pizza Rebellion vending machine will remain operational throughout.
Planned Maintenance
Some outlets have additional closures and adjusted opening times due to maintenance:
Arts Piazza:
- Closed: Monday 14 April and Tuesday 15 April
- Open: Wednesday 16 April from 7:30am – 6pm
- Open: Thursday 17 April from 9am – 4pm.
The Veg Bowl:

Closed: Tuesday 15 April.
Student Union outlets
- Falmer Bar will be closed on Sunday 13, Friday 18, and Sunday 27 April, with some adjusted hours over the rest of the spring vacation period.
- The Deli will be closed from Saturday 12 April - Sun 4 May.
- Northfield Bar will be closed from Saturday 12 April - Saturday 3 May.
- Room 76 will be closed from Saturday 12 April - Monday 4 May.
