Students are invited to take part in an open office session with Professor Kate O’Riordan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students), and Lewis Wilson, the Students’ Union Education and Employability Officer. The session is a chance for Kate and Lewis to hear directly from you about what you are enjoying at Sussex, along with any ideas you may have to help improve the student experience.
The autumn term session will take place in the Student Centre Atrium between 14:00 and 16:00 on 25 November. You can book a 15 minute conversation as an individual or bring one or two friends from your course or society.
In this session, Kate and Lewis are particularly keen to hear your thoughts on how you are taught and assessed, whether you are new to university level study or have been with us for several years. They welcome reflections on teaching, learning and life at Sussex more broadly.
If you are a first year student, you may want to share your experience of induction, Welcome Week and settling into your course. If you are a returning student, your perspective on how this year compares to previous years is also valuable.
How to book your place
To book a 15 minute slot, sign up on Ticket Tailor: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/sussex1/1938700

How your input makes a difference
Your feedback helps create positive change at Sussex. Students can share views in many ways, including taking part in surveys, joining conversations with University and Students’ Union leaders, and speaking to Student Reps who represent your academic interests. You can also explore examples of how student feedback has shaped improvements across our community on the Student Hub.
