? With Love, From Sussex: A Week of Community, Celebration & Connection ?
From 7th to 14th February, the entire campus will come alive with events and activities. Whether you want to unwind at a film night, learn something new at a crochet or cooking session, or simply relax in the Res Life Lounge, there’ll be plenty happening across the University for you to get involved in. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, try new things and soak up the sense of belonging that makes Sussex feel like home.
On 11th and 12th February the Student Centre will be transformed into a lively hub: there will be free lunches, a pop-up pamper station with free massages, creative crafts, games and Nintendo Mario Kart racing. There will be magic in the air, with a walk-about magician, and even the opportunity to have close-up animal encounters.
There will also be a special celebration and activities for our LGBTQ+ community, featuring drag queen bingo to music. Students who identify as part of the Black African diaspora heritage will be able to join Black at Sussex: Meet & Eat, a warm and welcoming chance to come together over food and conversation.
