Get ready for a global culinary journey as Sussex students spice up the campus with a food takeover!
As part of a competition Sussex Uni Food ran earlier this term, our students proposed dishes from their home countries, challenging our skilled chefs to bring them to life.
The outcome? Three winning recipes from Croatia, Nigeria, and Brazil. These rich dishes, priced at just £3, will star in campus pop-up lunches throughout May, each named after its student champion.
Join us on Thursday 16 or Friday 17 May at Bramber House lawns from 12pm (until sold out) for Nigerian Jollof Rice – West Africa's most popular savoury rice dish, infused with aromatic vegetables and meat, with a medley of seasonings.
This initiative isn't just about food; it's a celebration of diversity, a platform for students to proudly showcase their heritage through the universal language of cuisine.
