The Exchange: book now for the event all about fun

Student talking at The Exchange surrounded by other audience members

Can we have fun anymore? That’s the question a stellar panel will be discussing at The Exchange on Thursday 28 November.

Here are a few reasons to come along for the evening:

Our panel of speakers will make you think and challenge your own ideas

Chaired by Sussex academic Dr Ben Fincham, the discussion will explore questions like:

  • With big global issues in the news and concerns about what the future might hold, is it OK to let our hair down and have fun?
  • Is leisure time a luxury we can’t afford or something we need for our health?
  • How do we justify the frivolous when many are finding it hard to make ends meet?

Looking at these dilemmas from different perspectives, we’ll be trying to work out what fun actually is, whether people still know how to have it, and discussing what a more playful everyday could look like.

Keep an eye out as we’ll be revealing more speakers very soon.
