Black History Month: virtual events and funding to run your own
Black History Month is a time for Sussex students, staff and the wider Brighton community to reflect, learn and celebrate together.
The Students’ Union will be marking Black History Month throughout October and beyond with a variety of virtual events, exhibitions, talks and more.
Keep an eye on the Black History Month online listings to see new events and activities added regularly from student groups, schools and the wider Brighton community.
There are also grants available for any student or student group that wishes to put on an event, project or activity for Black History Month – all you need to do is fill out this funding form with some information and the SU events team will get back to you.
