The University’s largest-ever survey into racial equality on campus has now launched for students and staff.
To help address racial inequalities at Sussex, we are currently working towards an application for Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter.
As part of this work, we want to hear your views and whether you think there is anything we can do to eradicate racial discrimination and advance race equality.
Look out for an email in your inbox, inviting you to complete the survey.
By taking part you will be helping us to identify areas for improvement, and ways to make those improvements.
Vice-Chancellor Adam Tickell says: “This will give us a solid foundation and a vital framework from which to address the many and multi-layered barriers that staff and students face at Sussex.”
We hope you will see your views and ideas reflected within our Race Equality Charter application and will see that we are acting on the survey results.
This survey is just one of the ways you can be involved and we will be communicating regularly to keep you up to date with the race equality work we are undertaking and to seek your views on future actions.
