The GP Practice group that covers campus is offering Sussex students a free Covid-19 Pfizer BioNTech vaccination on campus. There will be 750 vaccines available for Sussex students at the pop-up clinic, so students are urged to book their appointments now.
The vaccination site will be set up on level 1 of Bramber House on:
- Friday 18 June, 1-6pm
- Saturday 19 June, 10am-6pm
The vaccination you will receive is part of the UK’s national Covid-19 vaccination programme. We strongly encourage all Sussex students to take part in this programme.
Please use our online form to express your interest in being invited to the pop-up clinic on campus.
You will need to provide your title, name, date of birth, NHS number and mobile phone number. Use the form to express an interest in having the vaccine only if you consent to your personal data being shared with the GP practice that will administer the vaccine. You will then receive a text message directly from the GP’s booking system to allow you to book your vaccination date and time.
If you don’t know your NHS number, you can request it via text or email on the NHS website.
You are asked to express your interest in advance so the NHS can ensure there are sufficient vaccines on site on the day. As the vaccine cannot be moved repeatedly, it is really important that we can monitor demand so the NHS move only the right number of vaccines and don’t waste this precious resource.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to have a vaccine at the clinic if you are currently suffering from Covid-19 or are isolating because of contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19. Please do not book a vaccine appointment or come to the vaccination site if:
- you have tested positive for Covid-19 at any time since 21 May 2021
- you have any Covid-19 symptoms
- or you are isolating because someone in your household has Covid-19 (even if you have had a negative test).
Please only turn up to receive a vaccine if the NHS has confirmed your appointment.
