Winter break is approaching, and whether you're heading home or staying in Brighton over the holidays, here are some ways to make the most of this festive season! Plus, stay warm by winning a winter hat in our latest giveaway!

  • Our Pagan Chaplain is holding a Winter Solstice Ceremony to celebrate Yule, winter and the turning of Wheel of the Year. Wednesday 11 December, 2.30-3pm at the Meeting House.
  • Join a special Christmas edition of the Sussex Astronomy Lecture as Professor Stephen Wilkins presents Cosmic Explosions: The Biggest Bangs in the Sky on 12 December at 5pm in the large lecture theatre in Jubilee Building.
  • Chapter 60 invites you to explore the Library’s journey from its founding to today, reflecting on our shared history and looking forward to the future. Visit the Library between 9am and 7pm. Running until 20 December.
