- Sussex Food Takeover is back and Sussex Uni Food invites you to submit traditional recipes online by Friday 31 January for a chance to buddy up with chefs to bring global flavours to campus!
- Current students can still apply to live on campus next academic year. Find out more about the housing available and apply.
- We are looking for Eco Champions who can spare an hour to encourage others to recycle and reuse in our campus cafés. You can also gain Spirit of Sussex Award points! Find out more and register your interest.
- One World Week is back from 10-16 March 2025! Applications are now open for Sussex students to apply for funding to host their own event as part of the programme. Find out more and apply. Deadline is 17 February.

- Treat yourself to some quality time with some friendly dogs. Canine Concern will be on campus every Tuesday from 12-2pm, unless stated. Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot.
- Come along to the Meeting House for an organ recital on 29 January, 12-12.45pm where you can enjoy the music of Bach, Mendelssohn, Bonnet and more.
- Join the new Ultimate Frisbee sessions on Fridays 12-1pm with ActiveUS. Whether you know the game already or have never tried it before, this session is open to anyone! Check out the new ActiveUS spring timetable to book a place.
- Mature Students' Community: Reconnect and Refresh is being held on 30 January, 12-2pm. Open to students aged 21+, it's a chance to reconnect and make new friends over games! Find out more and book a space.
- Book your free place at Inclusive Sussex: In Conversation with Gary Younge on Monday 10 February from 5.30-7.30pm. Gary will be discussing what the experiences of Black Germans in Nazi Germany tell us about systems of racial oppression.

Did you know?
The Lunar New Year marks the first new moon of the lunar calendar. This falls on January 29 2025, and this year is the Year of the Snake! Sussex will be hosting a celebration in the Student Centre Atrium on Wednesday 29 January, 11am-2pm, so come along for giant lantern creating, origami snakes and calligraphy, free spring rolls and Chinese tea, plus lots of games from a variety of cultures.
